Embroidered cardinal potholder

I love the red and green colors (I had to accentuate the red of the bird, and the green was a natural fit), and how this would be lovely to hang in your kitchen during the holidays. But the bird is also neautral enough that it could be displayed year-round; who doesn't love little birds?

I used quilt-shop quality cotton fabrics, and the inside has a layer of heat-deflecting mylar batting made especially for pot holders.
