shabby chic mug rug

This was fun to make, I cut out a rose motif from one fabric and appliqued it onto an aqua fabric with little dots. The simple background makes the rose pop out visually.

Doesn't it look so pretty under my vintage teacup? I made a couple of these, I'll show off the other one in a couple days.

The color combo looks perfect for a shabby chic home. I listed it in my etsy shop this morning. Can you believe Christmas is only 3 months away? I swear I am just not sewing fast enough.....
